Im Rahmen der 8th Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) International Conference von 6-8 Juli 2015 an der Tel Aviv University in Tel Aviv (Israel) bitten Laura Dobusch und Katharina Kreissl um Einreichungen für einen Stream zum Thema „Organizing Emancipation through, despite or against (Diversity) Management?“. Aus dem Call for Papers (PDF):
[W]e think that it is particularly interesting to take a closer look at the relationship between the workforce diversity in organisations and the relevance of/opportunity for emancipatory practices. Over the last decades the topics of equal and inclusive participation of historically disadvantaged groups at the workplace have been increasingly framed as a legitimate management responsibility and are thus explicitly addressed by various forms of diversity and equal opportunity policies on a practical level. Die Deadline für Einreichungen zur 7th Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) International Conference von 8-10 Juni 2014 an der Technische Universität München ist der 15. Januar 2014. Diesjähriges Konferenzthema ist „Organizing Inclusion: Beyond Privileges and Discrimination“. Aus dem CfP  (PDF):
The EDI Conference seeks to provide an international, inter- and transdisciplinary platform for the exchange of ideas in the field of equality, diversity and inclusion in the world of work. The conference welcomes participation by academics, policy makers, and practitioners. We invite academic papers which make empirical, theoretical or methodological contributions, to be presented in academic streams, as well as experiences of policy makers and practitioners, which can be presented in (pre-conference) workshops or other formats (e.g. round table discussions) as well as – if the stream permits – in the relevant streams.
Es ist die Einreichung von Developmental (3.000-5.000 Wörter) und von Full Papers (bis zu 10.000 Wörter) möglich, in manchen Streams ist auch das Einreichen von Extended Abstracts möglich.

Juni 2014 findet an der Technische Universität München die 7th Equality, Diversity and Inclusion International Conference zum Thema „Organizing Inclusion: Beyond Privileges and Discrimination“ statt. The EDI Conference welcomes a wide range of streams about the complex relationship between equality, diversity and inclusion from different theoretical, empirical and methodological angles as well as across various trans/inter/national and disciplinary contexts. We want to draw particular attention to the concept of inclusion which often serves as an implicit anchor of equality and diversity policies but is rarely explicitly addressed in the context of its specific meaning, measurability and corresponding practices. Furthermore, a focus on inclusion provides the opportunity to look simultaneously at centers and peripheries. Laura Dobusch, vom Münchner Max-Planck-Institut für Sozialrecht und Sozialpolitik sowie Trackleiterin bei „Momentum12: Demokratie“, und Caroline Richter von der Ruhr-Universität Bochum veranstalten im Rahmen der 6th Equality, Diversity and Inclusion International Conference von 1-3 Juli 2013 in Athen, einen Stream zu  „Dis/ability and Diversity – Organizations as enabling or disabling forces?“. Im Call for Papers (PDF) heißt es dazu:
By focusing on organizational expectations of performance standards, on the handling of deviations from these requirements and on the role of diversity management in this context, we hope to learn more about (implicit) practices of normalization and its effects on inclusion/exclusion.
Es können drei verschiedene Arten von Papers eingereicht werden: extended abstracts (500 Wörter), developmental papers (3.000-5.000 Wörter) und full papers (ca. 5.000 Wörter). Deadline für die Einreichung ist der 1. Februar 2013.
